Very low pitched Allertor located in St. Peter, WI.

Excuse any rustling noises in the video, a certain fuzzy friend wanted to hitch a ride just before the test, and he wanted out just after the test was finally done. Enjoy!

  • Wow...That thing doesn't sound too good...

  • @LouisvilleTorn8o Beats the old 1000T, which made no noise at all. I've asked the town if they wired it correctly, and they did not reply. I presume the 1000T has been scrapped.

  • i wish too but it was a 130 theres a model 7 that is used for fire calls below it i might be able to snag for a bargain if it comes down i found out the actual last one has been runnig cause ive came through town a couple times and the head was off then the next day it was back up. it has been restored. i can see the were ear protection sticker on it from the rite aid right beside it

  • @ALLERTORLOVER69 There's no such thing as a 130 dBc Allertor, that was just some crap hawked by someone else a few years ago. Do you have any photos of it anyways? If it was an older Allertor with the smaller horn, that still isn't a common sight.

  • @JustInn014 no im talking about the 2001 right beside it

  • @ALLERTORLOVER69 Oh, okay. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The only 2001s made now are the standard 130 dBc 12 port model, and the "Equinox" lower pitched version, the latter's only on special request I think. I wonder how many things were changed on the 130, compared to the SRNB before it.

  • This allertor sounds a lot like the ones in Manitowoc Wisconsin. Nice video of it.

  • This area of the state is known as "the Holyland" due to all of the small communities being built around grand Catholic churches. Just a fun fact. Plus all these towns have pretty nice sirens. :)

  • idk i think motor changed (or the 130 takes more power)to give the 2001 130 the higher pitch than the srnb(theres one right in my buddys front yard) about a quatermile away from my house. my dogs do not like it at all. it replaced an aca banshee that was there before

  • @JustInn014 Arent the single tones 130, and the dual tones 125?

  • a rotating thunderbolt blower!!!! LOL
