I only had some Beyerdynamics DT990 for tweaking and mixing. And I'm a mixing noob - just wanted to hear how some highgain stuff sounds "in the mix"

Used this backing track:

Pitchshifter and Interface: Axe-FX II. Flanger: Revalver MK III

  • Not sure if you were going for a JCM 800 sound, but that's really not even close.

  • @Ethan314159 Not really. Was just going for a sound I like. Think that was one of the Roadking Profiles.

  • @mDaniel87 Ahh fair enough. It does sound very Mesa-y.

  • @adamdevo I know what you are getting at but that's just how Tom likes his guitar, it's actually more impressive the KPA was able to mimic that sound so well.

  • @xxxlunaticasylumxxx KPA by a mile and a half! I've used the Axe, this sounds WAYYYYYYYY better!!!

  • @buymeamic +1

  • @adamdevo

    wrong. Sounds like real amp.

  • I've tried this one with 5150 and it sounds same.

No difference, no plastic. It scared me, because nobody need amps anymore, only poweramps!

  • sounds digital

  • Sounded good...
