It's time for Ellen's Quest for World Domination, and the country of the week is Australia. She shares some fascinating info and takes a look at some Australian items -- you won't believe what her coffee mug can do! Take a look.

  • What were the audience actually laughing at?

  • @chuckles222 God I hate people who claim EVERYTHING and EVERYONE is racist. Get over yourself and learn to tolerate a bit of fun, something that we Australians are known for.

  • People here need to harden the fuck up.

  • @101sbailey it is for some indiginous tribes, it is absolutely forbidden for a woman to play one, however not for all

  • When Ellen's playing the didgeridoo, she sounds like a dying elephant. Just saying. No disrespect.

  • i laughed my ASS OFF!!, too funny.

  • it's disgusting how ignorant people are of the aboriginal culture. traditionally women NEVER play the didgeridoo... however they don't play ellen in the doll office so none of the boongs saw this

  • Okay, CALM DOWN EVERYONE. In America, a lot of people make jokes. People don't usually take these jokes seriously, thus the title "joke". Ellen was making JOKES about Australia. She wasn't trying to belittle it. When Americans laugh, they aren't trying to belittle it. In fact, a lot of us (myself included) have great respect for Australia and most Australians. We're not trying to be racist, and we don't want to be offensive. I know that wasn't Ellen's intent.

  • It's so weird how he keeps shaking the check as he speaks...

  • Being an Australian, I don't take offense to it either. But, it's amazing how Ellen can get on the t.v. and make a joke of our native culture playing the didgeridoo and there's no uproar, but hey hey it's saturday made news all over the U.S. from the Jackson 5 skit. The U.S. media starts making hypocritical comments labeling an entire country as "racist"

  • I don't take offence to this, although the bit where she played Didgeridoo would be offensive to alot of indigenous australians, as only men are allowed to play it.

  • Is it just me, or is Ellen's didgeridoo technique very similar to the way she speaks whale?

Also, I love Ellen. I'm an Aussie too... I don't understand why people are offended. She's a champ!
