Thank you Supervisor Sean Elsbernd for proposing a common sense measure and working at the grass roots level to get it passed, while your colleague clowns farted around with happy meal toys and circumcision bans, you are working for real issues that affect All San Franciscans.
TO ALL MUNI DRIVERS: SUCK IT. YOU HAD YOUR CHANCE TO BE REASONABLE AND NEGOTIATE PAY WITH THE MAYOR TO AVOID THE MASSIVE DEFICIT. YOU CHOSE NOT TO. NOW YOU MUST GROVEL FOR YOUR WAGES.
@ugetasskicked Yeah no surprise there. They slam doors in my face when I'm running towards the bus. They're disrespectful and rude. I can't imagine why I'd want to be in touch with the average muni driver. Some of them can be polite, but most don't give a shit.
@ryanjayrobison It's funny how all you Yes on G folks believe that this will actually improve service. This prop just does away with the automatic 2nd in the nation salary.
Hey! This is one of my favorite stops! The J Church could really stand improvement in service and Muni salary/benefit reform is the way to do it. I will be voting yes on G.
Anger against the Union is justified. There also seems to be a concerted effort by drivers to treat the passenger better -- at least until the vote for Proposition G, perhaps so we will forget the many abuses their contract still protects. That they should be guaranteed the second highest pay in the nation by the City Charter, is unconscionable, even though the rides often offer the best entertainment value in the nation!
I have no idea how Prop G will actually fix Muni, but I've about fucking had it with the Muni Union. These people are way the fuck out of touch with what's going on right now.

@davecserret but if you actually were a bus driver, you'd be in jail right now.

If I performed as lousy in my job as the Muni administrators and drivers do, I'd be fired on the spot!
