What do you mean by "just sorta holding it there" ?

Winamp is totally controlled by the Wiimote, however not directly. I wrote a Winamp plugin in C which can perfom actions when receiving orders via TCP/IP connexion, and another software in C# which analyze the Wiimote signal received via Bluetooth driver and send actions order to the Winamp plugin by TCP/IP.

So there is several steps between the Wiimote and Winamp, but no tricks, Winamp is controlled by Wiimote.

If you talk about the software that draws white lines on top panel representing Wiimote axis gyroscopes and lines on the top panel representing movements in time, this software I made it myself for "debug" purpose.

What is the diagnostic software you are using to read the raw outputs of the Wiimote? I'm looking for something similar so I can use the IR tracking to bind key presses to certain gestures.

I'm not sure to understand your question, do you mean "diagnostic software you are using to "display" the raw outputs of the Wiimote" ? or do you mean ""library" you are using to read the raw outputs of the Wiimote" ?
