Oh, BTW, Matthews and Johns passions are played every year before Easter week at the original premiere place, St. Thomas Church in Leipzig. I have listened to both....it is an incredible experience which I can recommend to all members of this board.

I love rock music: Springsteen, Petty, Stones....Bach is definitely the best composer EVER. With the Mathews passion he reached the absolute zenith. I listen to it from time to time. "Mache dich mein Herze rein" is the most beautiful peace of the passion and a true masterpiece of music. It is so intense, drives me almost to tears. For me, it symbolizes the expression of human existence, of our limited existence on this earth and of my own end. I´d like to be played this one on my funeral.
