Thanks for posting Lizzy. I see that they are still espousing that this was coercion. It was not coercion it was unlawful removal of babies from their rightful mothers at birth. Hanne

What about the Adoptees ??? The hurt the lies ..we were never given the choice , we had no say !!!!! Try walking in our shoes not knowing who the birth father is ,and the birth mother saying .Ohhh it was so long ago i can't remember , it was horrible ...So for me SORRY won't cut it ..compensation is what we need !! I'm sorry but I have no feelings for my birth mother ..she never raised me !

What I would like to know is why the Anglican Church and Anglicare are denying they had anything to do with this happening to me when in relaity they did it and i have proof in black and white.
A long healing process? Will this return our babies to us? My lineage that they cut off?

I do not think Sorry will ever do anything for me at 15 I was treated like shit, a crimanal in the eyes of the hospital staff and the social workers who reported my babies Father to the police so he was charged with carnal knowledge and he was only 15 it has impacted on both our lives in the worst way. So NO Sorry wont do.
My baby was stolen from me. Carol Helmrich.

how true, us sufferers need so badly to hear a deep felt sorry. The kind that makes us feel they understand the gravity of such intense pain. many of us never get our children back. some reunions make us realize our children were steeped in the bad girl propaganda and we lost their love through a terrible process.

Adoption is legalized child-trafficking, slavery and the torture of young and poor mothers for profit. It is a multibillion-dollar global racket. U.S. Government officials have their filthy, bloody hands in it, just as they do in countless war crimes and crimes against humanity. Thanks to the efforts of mothers, the Australian Parliament is investigating this wholesale atrocity. The bureaucrats who control the system have hidden their crimes behind secrecy and lies for over 60 years.
This happened to me -- we need to get it out there.
