Babbling stops (guitar starts) @ 4:46
As you can see, I didn't put a whole lotta effort into this... Just tryin' to answer a few questions. Ask away if anyone has any more questions. Pardon the sloppy pickin'... Just wanted to give a brief audio sample. The song is my version of Woody Mann's version of Bo Carter's "Old Devil". I can repost this if it's too scattered, but right now I just wanna go play in the snow.

  • yeh... i was a little mean-spirited in my comment [ "tedious rants" ] so, apologies due; no excuses. jc.

  • @jconabike it's all good, man. thanks.

  • way too much yakking - just play the guitars and that will tell us way more than your tedious rants....peace.

  • @jconabike uhh... yeah, i know (hence the apologies in the description). i just posted this spontaneously for someone who asked me to review the blueridge. two and a half years ago... i ain't gettin' paid for this stuff, y'know. and nobody's forcing you to watch. but thanks for your helpful comments! peace.

  • i paid over a grand for a blueridge parlour - worth every cent i paid! big sound out of a small guitar [ probably the saddle placement ] and magical sound - and no they do not build them in a sweat shop situation [ have a chinese friend who worked there

  • @jconabike i'd love to try out the br parlour. haven't seen one yet. glad to hear about your friend's experience!

  • Awesome pickin dude! I've got the blueridge br163 aswell man and I love it and great value for money too, I definitely think the same way about guitars made in china though no anti communist intended lol but yeah I picked up on the sound of the other guitar u played and defiantly sounds great. I kind of like the neck width of the blueridge though as I play electric. But aye man two great sounding geetars!

  • nice picking! I happen to like the babbling also... thanks for your time.

  • Blueridge blues

  • Blueridge blues

  • fast forward to 4:46 if u want to hear the guitar

  • Well, I am impartial to which I like. Like all Larrivees it is a little lackluster in sound. Good midrange but their major bracing makes their soundboard a little lacking. I still like em, heck I own one.. Blueridge, thin soundboard is more resonant but I still am not a huge fan of their sound and the fact that they are made in China. Too twangy. Anyway, who gives a crap about my opinion, LOL!
