AH 98, That was my Great Granda, Granda (John Spink) and his Brothers( Alex & George Spink) Boat, "The Guiding Star".

Don't know who the man is at 00.36, but the back view of a lady with white hair at 0.48 is Betsy Swankie who was quite a town character.
Heck I even recognise some of the vehicles, such as the Volkswagon truck picking up fish at the harbour. Think that belonged Alex Pert the fishmonger.

great to see the harbour as it was.... with a tear in the eye

Brings back loads of memories my granny lived in the cottages in Victoria park at that time , was hoping you had some footage of that but it never came up .....but still very enjoyable ....Lindsay Duncan

Kerr's miniature railway and the pool! Happy days in the Angus toon!

Got to love the complete lack of 'elf 'n safety when going on the horses.
You be padded up like a spaceman nowadays if allowed at all.

Thanks, will be uploading a film of Arbroath from 1965 in the next day or so. Do you know who the man in the grey jacket is (00:36). He used to travel each Saturday to my former hometown of Lochgelly in Fife to sell kippers.
