Playing the hydraulophone outside the Rivoli during Cafe Scientifique/Adult Science Fair on May 9, 2009. Steve Mann, the inventor (and world's first cyborg), is standing in the background!! Follow me on Twitter! @blazingbetta
Approaching it from the street, I knew I was on the wrong side, and only meant to try out a note or two... but when I realized the hydraulophone could play more than one note at once, I couldn't stop!! Had to try something that would allow me to squeeze in a four-note chord! ;o)
Hydraulist, it is an instrument with a beautiful sound, and is very fun to play!!! Thank you for bringing it out that day!!
Really good hydraulophone technique in terms of finger embouchure, considering you're playing it from the more difficult side (presumably you didn't want to get sprayed with the water, but it is a lot easier to play from the center of the curvature radius).
Obvious musical influences include Brian Eno and Philip Glass :o)

Excellent playing and musical expression!
