David Cameron talks about the Government's expensive plans to force GPs them into Polyclinics, which is causing anger and worry.

In many cases this means local surgeries will close, which is bad for the disabled and elderly, for whom proximity to a GP's surgery is very important.

  • Excellent video. I'll be embedding this on my Save Our Surgeries campaign web site.

    Helen Bate.

  • Why waste more of OUR money, more police on the streets, more dentists, etc....

People need there local GP, it is a sense of community and what about the elderly what do they do. Polyclinics will be further away too from the majority of people so even more co2 in the atmosphere. Labour get your act together!!

Also they wil be a mix between hospitals and GPs surgeries. LABOUR the people of Britain just don't want that.

    Grant :)

  • We, in Finchley, are suffering the same dictatorial idea of a Polyclinic. Our wonderful GP has had to leave his practice and the Borough have messed him around with the size of his next practice. It will only be temporary and then we will lose him altogether. It is a downright disgrace that the personal service we get from our GP, who knows us better than anyone else, should be taken away. Another nail in the coffin of local communites. Roll on a Conservative Government!

  • The closer we are to GPs, the better off we are. We don't need more centralized bureaucracy from Labour, enough is enough. We need Boris on the 1st of May!!!!!!!!!!

  • I agree with tucker672's point, the GP surgery is a sense of community and it should be left alone. Why can't Labour try spending our money on much needed reforms and not on un-necessary tasks.

  • True.
