Not merely an imitation, she is extremely genuinely funny! I met her once when she was appearing as Lucy at Universal Studios, and it was amazing how like the character of Lucy Ricardo she appeared. I read somewhere that she once appeared as Lucille Ball later in life, too, wearing a costume from MAME and lowering her vocal register to match. I'd LOVE to have seen that!
