Police need public's help to ID purse-snatching thief

Boynton Beach police need the public's help identifying a woman who brazenly snatched a 79-year old woman's purse from a shopping cart a Publix on Monday afternoon. According to surveillance video, as the victim was selecting food from the seafood display, the suspect walked near her cart, reached over and grabbed the Kate Spade purse. The suspect is described as a white female, early 30's with brown hair ina pony tail with a black and white head band, wearing a light blue tank top, blue jeans and black flip flops. She was seen with a white male, early 30's, with short brown hair, wearing a blue button-down shirt with a design on the back and blue jeans. Anyone who recognizes this woman is asked to call Det.
