An electro-acoustic trio based in the Netherlands, exists of Patrick Bossink, Sjoerd Leijten & Aleksandra Popovska.
They met six years ago at the Faculty for Art,Media and Technology and since then collaborate in various projects.
Recently they have decided to use Il Faut Manger as a platform for developing new and adventurous music.
Typical Il Faut Manger performance is an intense live improvisation, where the pleasure of playing is the key.
Delicate soundscapes are alternated with the live signal processing and subtle musical gestures.
Sharing some moments of life by playing, listening to the music and the silence as well, they are bringing fresh and organic musical forms,that can be described as real -time sound sculptures, sometimes perceived as songs,improvisations or " musical somethings".
