Peter Paul & Mary - In Concert at "The Orleans" Casino Showroom in Las Vegas Nevada, June 10, 2007. Accompanied by Dick Kniss and Paul Prestopino. Edited clips from the end of "Blowin' In The Wind" and encore "This Land Is Your Land". Shot in 'video' mode of a Kodak z650 digital still camera. The quality is not good, but it will always be a treasured memento of a magical night for my wife and I. (BTW: Peter, if you're watching... Roxie still says "ThankYouThankYouThankYou" for the pre-show hugs and kisses!! *wink*). With love for all the PP&M fans out there.
*NOTE: For those who have asked... Mary was diagnosed with Leukemia in November 2004. She has undergone bone marrow therapy and other treatment and claimed at the time of this recording to be recouperating and in improving health. However, this concert was the end of a tour and this recording is the end of their show, after expending a lot of energy and performing beautifully, so the dear lady is clearly fatigued by this point. Had I recorded any of her earlier performance, i.e. her solo of 500 Miles, you would see that Mary Travers has weathered her storm better than you might think and is still a consumate and talented pro with a unique and beautiful voice.

R.I.P. Mary Travers. (see my tribute slide show of original photos at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEFdGm0stJE )

  • I'm actually a young newfound fan of PPM. i've been lookin for new covers and stuff to play for open mics and what not. i started with bob dylan and he has brought me here. awesome.

  • Glad you found my little video of PP&M. I am very proud to have shot it and gotten it out for all the fans, like ourselves, who still love the trio so much. Look in the rest of my vids for my cover of "Don't Laugh At Me", you may like it for open mic shows... it's a crowd pleaser for sure. TY for the nice comment.

  • I also met with ppm 45 years ago. I got to know how to enjoy the music, and beauty and life from them. And I am one of ppm fans who is continuing seeing them since then. My band covered the music of ppm 40 years ago. If you are interested, please click ID of mine. and listen to "i dig rockn roll music・・・

  • I went, I looked... but did not find a video of "I Dig Rock & Roll Music". I was disappointed. But, I did go look for it. TY for the nice comment on my PP&M video. There is a vid of me doing "Don't Laugh At Me" in my videos... check it out when you have a minute.

  • @susancarol225 Actually I had no idea Mary was sick until her death was announced. I wish I knew. I really wish I knew. But thanks for posting this. It's wonderful.

  • Mary had guts and strength to keep going with how she must have felt. This is an amazing clip and I thank you for posting it.

  • No matter what people say, she is still beautiful.

  • I really wish I knew they were doing this concert... I would have traveled to see it. I grew up with these guys and occassionally pull out all of the oldies and have a PPM night!

  • Excellent...saw 'em only once live in '84...we all age, we all day, certainly I'm more than twice the age I was when I saw them perform. I busted out crying watching this. And that's okay. Thank you for posting Bill and Roxie.

  • Mary always had a song in her heart and I will be forever grateful that she shared it with me. Sleep in Peace, Lovely Lady!

  • Mary Travers was a beautiful soul and we are all blessed to have had her in our lives! My biggest regret is that I never got to meet her! I still miss her to this day!
