This is a news report from NBC news Channel 3 regarding Legalizing Ferrets in Ca.

Extra Info:

The NBC news people promised an un-biased report but it appears more like a special interest news cast for Arnold and the Department of Fish and Game.

RESPONSE 1

The Department of Fish and Game compare the domesticated Ferret to wild Hybrid ferrets that live in New Zealand. These hybrids can live in the wild unlike the domesticated ferret. Fish and Game also fail to mention Domesticated ferrets have less chance of survival because of the high rate of predators in California versus very few in New Zealand. There has been ferrets here by the thousands for over 20 years and theres still NO REPORT of ANY feral ferrets in the ENTIRE United States..

RESPONSE 2

ROGAINE DOESN'T WORK FOR EVERYONE! PERFECT EXAMPLE HERE! AND WHY DID THIS GOVERNORS OFFICIAL HAVE NOT A NAME ON HIM?

RESPONSE 3

All animals can BITE! One thing that strikes me odd is the reporter that been making these negative comments on this report was also THE touring reporter for Arnolds Campaign! Things that make you go HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! Special interests in the MEDIA Arnold?

  • Ferrets might give a little nip or even a bite when scared but I don't think I have ever heard of a ferret mauling a person to death.

  • I was advised to not feed cat food to ferrets...That news woman is the most condescending person I have ever witnessed on TV. "Have been know to bite" what animal hasnt??! Duh!

  • Land of the free and u cant even have a fucking ferret... Ridiculous

  • Arnold! What?! C'mon man, I've looked up to you since I was a little kid! How can you not like ferrets? Do your homework, mr. governor! D:<

My love for ferrets tops my love for you. Booo.

Feral dogs and cats pose more of an environmental threats than ferrets ever will.

"have been known to bite people on occassion" --and so has every other domesticated animal ever known to mankind. What's their point?

  • Most of these people banning ferrets don't know two shits about them.

    Excuse my french.

You'd have a better chance of a cat or dog "killing" wildlife or hurting people. Humans slaughter tons of animals each year, yet we're not banned. -_-

  • it is legal to own burmese pythons but not "baby-eatin' ferrets" ;)

  • "ferrets have been known to bite people on occasion" Oh yeah, and cats and dogs haven't at allll noooo...not one bit.

I've heard of plenty of dogs who have ripped off a person's face and these people say they're worried about ferrets biting on occasion?!

  • They talk about ferrets biting people, yet certain dog breeds have torn human beings to shreds o_o plus we have coyotes and hawks everywhere in california, domesticated ferrets wouldn't last long at all, and I'm sure caring and responsible owners would make sure to keep their ferrets safe and secure. Also, it seemed the news was trying to depict ferret owners as odd and silly by interviewing that gothic pink haired man. ugh.

  • I swear these laws are stupid. I live in NYC, where they're banned too. "Wild ferrets"..What the fudge? They're domesticated and can't last more then a week or so in the wild. Stop confusing them with black footed ferrets.

  • My kid bit me. Does this mean it should be illegalized?

  • I don't get it.

they're baisicly like a cat. and so many people in california that i know have them, so obviously they are in california, and aren't doing any damage thus far. I really want one too but I live in California. plus, my cats have killed wildlife here like squirrels and stuff, why aren't they banned, I let my cat's go outside but i consider a ferret an 'inside' pet unless you have a full body harness. stupid -_-

  • legalize it..

fucking fuck legalizing weed thats dumb.
