The first campaign commercial indicates that Obama and Pelosi's agenda is hurting America. We need a businessman with experience like Tom Reed to go to DC and help create jobs, cut spending, and get America on the right track.
Hey starfreedomfighter, your anger is misplaced. Obama is for the middle class while the Republicans are for big business. It's not liberals vs conservatives, it's the corporation vs the people. Follow the money.
@edm63 so tell me all bushes fault? hmm its been what? 2 years since hes been out. Yeah get back to me with something good obamas done. And slanderous lies you people post about reed. Let me tell you buddy it plays both ways. How about we meet face to face and see whose the tough guy
you people knownothing aboout tom reed. Maybe if you pull your heads out of your liberal asses, maybe you'll see he's much better than obama. And dont play the "blame bush game" its not all his fault obamas doing massive damage too
@elharbingero "Pro-life"? He's inconsistent and in conflict with the teachings of the Church to which he belongs. And when did the taking of innocent lives stop being a significant issue?
The district is going to go Republican. If Reed's forces had given her a chance, she might have been the GOP nominee. If she lost in a fair fight, then so be it.
Besides, given his positions, the indications are he's going to go to Washington and just give us more of the same, including with abortion.
@Leefstrong He's pro-life, or at least, reasonably towards the pro-life end of things in a year where abortion is not a significant issue. You'd rather hand Pelosi another vote for speaker? Because that's the only thing Volk can do. She can't win this year. Pelosi as speaker would do far more to effect abortion than any hypothetical Reed/Volk difference.
I'll say it again: the time to do this is in the primaries. Conservatives have to be SERIOUS this year and not squabble over small stuff.
@elharbingero She's pro-life - that's one difference. She didn't get on the primary ballot becuase of typical political maneuvering - something folks in both parties do to get others off the ballot, yes, but politics as usual. We don't need politics as usual.
@Leefstrong She's not even on the ballot. If she'd gotten support from even one party, then she'd merit inclusion in the debate. She has no significant support or resources and the only thing she could possibly do is play spoiler. She doesn't even have clear policy differences from Reed, or a message beyond "I'm Janice Volk, pay attention to me!"
Volk supporters, please be reasonable. Regroup and try again in a year or so. At this point it just comes across as petty.

Reed wants jobs -- oversees:
Reed has received $14,400 from Sutherland Global Service.
Sutherland Global Services is a company that provides overseas outsourcing. Look them up.

Either Reed is lying or he doesn't know the facts:
Lost Jobs: If you blame Obama, you haven't read a newspaper for the last 2 years. Financial melt down happened under Bush.
Massive deficits: Bush ran up the deficit. Obama's contribution was a result of emergency spending needed to avoid a depression.
More taxes: Obama has lowered taxes.
Pelosi: You try passing legislation when the opposing party wants the economy to get worse so that they can get reelected

Will you include Janice Volk in the debates? Show us that you will be a different kind of politician - and not just more of the same.
