Amir John Haddad played this "Soleáres" in october 2010, during a recording session for the Website of Mundo Flamenco. He plays a Lester DeVoe cypress/spruce guitar from 2008. This guitar was owned by Vicente Amigo for two years.

  • I wonder what is the usual price of such a model of guitar you used to play in this video?

  • @4tt1

This model made by Lester DeVoe costs in my shop in Germany about 8000 Euros Tax included. If you buy it from outside of Europe about 7000 Euros, because it is tax free. Lester has a waiting list about 3 years. I will have this model here at the end of 2011. I love specially his guitars with top of cedar. The sound is very flamenco.

  • how did you get ahold of vicente's guitar

  • @DROPCONTROL1

Vicente received last year two new negras from Lester and he worked out a deal with him. He owns several guitars from Lester and sometimes when he receives new ones he trades some older of his collection. I heard this from Lester and went to Cordoba to Vicente to purchase them. I know Vicente since many years. I sold one cypress spruce in my shop and kept for me the cypress/cedar. I love this guitar, it is so easy to play and sounds so flamenco.

  • @duendeguitarra

where is your shop located at. i would like to come and pay you a visit...

  • @DROPCONTROL1

Sorry for the delay. I was in spain collecting guitars. My shop is located in the south of Germany, in Freiburg. Close to Switzerland and France. The next airport is Euroairport Basel/Mulhouse. You are welcome to visit me. I always have a stock between 50 and 70 Flamencoguitars.
