Hell, I've been working out for only a couple weeks and even I know that that's bad form. Bring your elbows in closer together. You'll have to use less weight and won't be able to impress as many people, but you'll work the muscle more.

need to keep your grip where u can lap thumbs, you need to point elbows straight up

waste of time and elbow pain in your future. do close grip bp and dips instead.
use a little less weight and do better form. It will be way more effective
