Thanks, I know it has many many applications but I don't have time to work on them. That is the reason why I released the source code. I was hoping other people would do something with it, but I have yet to see anything like that... :)
way genius! thats great..when this library will be available for downlaod? I love Python programming, that will be a great help for lotsa python applications. awesome work!
I think the biggest problem would be making it wireless. The wiimote works the oposite way of this system. You swing around the camera and the IR-leds are stationary. How usefull would it be to make a wired version of the wiimote? Perhaps it's worth a try

He uses the wiimote in reverse and comes up with some really cool stuff using the wiimotes IR tracking capabilities.
