I shall not revel in victories of such petty squirmishes as internet battles but thanks for the shout-out!

  • You're welcome, keep being awesome

And regarding 'fanboy' you obviously have no idea who I am. I'm Greg Werner, founder of The Ultimate DBZ Information which back from 1997-1999 was the most popular English language DBZ website on the internet. I spent years of my life dedicated to DB/Z/GT. I even wrote articles for The Beckett DBZ Collector magazine. DB inspired me to learn Japanese and brought me to where I am today.

So go ahead, call me a 'fanboy' again. One more chance to use facts. Go.

Your inspiration argument is translucent and I've been entertaining it but it's time to end that. Your point is...that people have inspired each other? And that the people who've inspired others are by default, superior without question? Are you certain you want to make that point?

Sales aren't important? Really? Because last time I checked, Dragon Ball was so 'beloved' by Japan that it's revamped version had to be cancelled half-way through.

  • @RealMadridFClub

When OP had lesser success? I'm sorry what do you mean? I've lived in Japan when OP was successful, moderately successful and record-smashingly successful.

Again, you're suggesting your small circle of friends account for an entire country? I'm a teacher that's worked with over 1,000 students and at any given moment in any given classroom more no less than half the students could easily procure obscure quotes. So please don't tell me about a circle of friends

  • Oh man, the fanboy just called someone a fanboy. *grabs popcorn*

  • @0chimusha When One Piece had lesser sucess than nowadays.

Yes, I have friends here and there.

Ah yes, I remember now, AT was inspired in a movie "Journey To The West", a film, while EO was inspired by AT, sorry.

Dude, times change. If Dragon Ball was running now and One Piece ended over 10 years... Dragon Ball would sold as much as One Piece are doing now. So uh... Sales are apart. Are you saying that OP is more beloved than DB and there is more respect? Ah such fanboy... -_-'

  • "biznitches" LoL i got to use that sometime

  • @RealMadridFClub

I don't need to believe you because I've lived in Japan over a decade...

Are you suggesting your circle of friends > The whole of Japan?

Uh, Disney *was* a person. His name was...Walt...Disney...

Unless you can begin procuring real hard evidence and figures that show DBZ sold more, sold faster, permeated the culture more, is more beloved, the author is more respected then you're just flaunting your opinion. Everything I've said is factual data. Last chance.
