Benita Rose offers a lesson in efficiency. The playing was excellent. Trying to refine technique further.

  • Dear Benita, if our TV programmers were not as dumb, this kind of lesson should appear every week on a proper channel.....Why not try to submit the idea? Ah! If you played the electric guitar, you might have had a better chance....I know.....

  • I'm glad you think I have posted something of value! Thank-you!

  • PERFECT lesson. This video was VERY detailed, and it explain this VERY CLEARLY.

  • So glad you enjoyed it!

  • I love all 107 of your videos.

You know, when I hear you play the Etude I picture myself in a boat out on the lake at night. I really don't get to be in a boat much at all, but In my vision I see the moon reflecting on the water. its WONDERFUL!

  • That is great, Peter!

  • the playing is very musical ....... the lesson EXCELLENT!

  • WOW!! Excellent example! My teacher talks about loss of energy through too much movement whether it be too much finger, hand, or wrist action, or body motion......My teacher teaches more automatic movement, close to the keys.....I guess that leaves more energy for the sound......we also talk about center of gravity......scales are much easier, and I totally agree that sound changes with movement!!

  • my...we should have seen this before Enzo posted. Enzo's fingers seems to lift a lot more...

    T H A N K S....
