AWESOME! I built on my property were I host slot car races in IN. I built one like that but mine was about 110 feet of track, 6 lanes, and had a working water fall and a "damaged bridge" where the rails were rusted and had a "danger sign" on them. One guy fell of into the water. The car sank but still ran okay. I actually think it ran faster after that. LOL nice though mate. Cheers!

Hi mate, how did you get the ripple effect on the side of the mountains? Is there an easy way?

Absolutely beautiful Slot car track,
I am still working on mine and I hope it looks as good as this.

brilliant!
As I mentioned, it took about six months to make. Obviously, I was just working on it here and there, but I put a lot of time into it on weekends. I also have some experience doing these type of tracks now so it goes quickly. You can buy all the materials at a hobby store (especially if they do model RRs), and the wood from Home Depot/Lowes/Osh.

No idea on how long it took to make, but it probably cost about $700. I built it over the course of six months, but you could build it much quicker depending on how much time you devote to building and what kind of detailing you put into the track.

Most of the trees were made but some were bought. Tried to get a variety in the little forest patch.
