It is highly useful,what Echart is selfishlessly teaching us.the message he is sending though could be caught and understood by those who are ready to really listen and look inside of themselves.I thank God for people like Mr.Echart Tolle.May he be blessed,with love of God.May we all receive God's bliss and love and feel it in the present moment.

Exactly what is it that Christians (fundie types) find so threatening about Eckhart? I know the answer, but had to put it forth. Thay are bombarding all the videos of Tolle here. Quite sad, he speaks a profound message that is for everyone.

@gurugeorge Very true. The message Tolle speaks is the essence of a lot of what Jesus was about. But those that cling to specific texts are afraid to see transcendental truths that go beyond any one path. This is a good reminder that spirituality is supposed to rattle our illusion of static equilibrium.

I have been listen to Lester Levingstons series on you tube...Talks that were recored in the 60's and they chim in perfectely with dear Mr tolle.

Mr Levinstons insigts are that all our desires can be characterised by 4 wants

I want Approvel

I want control

I want to be one

I want security ... sub sectioned, fear of death.

when you identifie the wants ubderlying the desires the ego will then dissolve and you are left with bein

@maulhoik It's that this kind of message negates the necessity for propositional truth as found in the text of the Bible. Such people were formerly happy to believe all problems settled in the text. A teaching like Tolle's disturbs their equilibrium - sets them questioning again, when they thought it was all settled for them, and they didn't have to think for themselves any more. It's an understandable reaction.

I have discovered that the few negative people that scream the loudest, don't represent anyone but themselves. So when you see someone pretending to represent this or that religion on YouTube, and they are negative, just know that they only represent themselves. LOL

Without suffering, pain, guilt, wrath, vengence, retribution etc where would the Christians be? Perhaps in the moment in the now happy and connected to the god energy presence etc. Christians the hard liners that is, are very close to what the ET refers to as the pain body - if they're not condeming someone then they are at a loss.
