Go Seigen - Sixteen Soldiers Game (Moves 1- 60)

This video is a demonstration of a piece of code that I wrote to visualize the concept of influence in the game of GO. It's a simple linear driven metric exponential distribution influence function. This game was played on 1933-10-10 in the Oteai, between Kosugi Tei (Black) and Go Seigen. White won by resignation.

The Beethoven sonata is a bonus.

i find it hilarious that people criticize Go Seigen, one of the best minds of Go...ppl who say that this is "bad gaming" or a "25 kyu game" obviously are in like 15-20 kyu range themselves.

Excellent, beautiful game, and beautiful the influence graphic representation. Definitely go is a very deep art, it is an art of form, energy and balance.

However, I think you should leave the final board position for at least some seconds, so it can be appreciated without needing to pause.
