Robber's Victim Pulls His Own Gun

The third time proved anything but a charm when a serial robber chose another victim, slammed him against a car and demanded money. The robber found out too late that the victim was licensed to carry a concealed deadly weapon. The armed citizen fired several shots, killing the robber. No charges have been filed.

In states that allow it you can open carry and conceal carry, to conceal carry you do need a license and or a permit..

depends on where you live at, some states you cannot
