Haha! Possumbuddy! I remember killin' one, but I don't recall that I ever dressed and et him. :-)
Oh well, -at least I spared him the far more indignant demise of being flattened out in the center of some heavily traveled road and painted over with the yellow line painting machine and ending up as a funny picture on the internet.
