  • I'd blame both parties. Clinton was the one who pushed NAFTA through. I can't forget that. Republicans screw the working people but don't lie about it to get elected while democrats lie to working people to get the vote and then screw the working people. The best vote is one for neither party.

  • when china dumps cheap poor quality steel in our markets who pays for it? we as americans pay the price. see the pipe behind the president, that is a quality product made by Hard working americans. It is the blood of youngstown, next time you go to buy a product made outside our borders, You are taking money out of our pockets. Thanks for buying that foreign product

  • @123vers

Sorry your wrong, Clinton and his Nafta is to blame.

  • @bobjman Yes, it was an "unlimited" line of credit extended to univeristies-for the purpose of financially helping people get an education.

"This might sound like a good idea and can work to a degree in the short run it just can't be sustained in the long run." - You are assuming that every person will go to college. Money isn't the only reason people do not get higher education.

  • With all the Negative gossip going around, their is still Something i Like about Him - I guess cause He's Humble - I don't know...

  • AS long as obama doesnt help blacks crackers will continue to love him. they jus want him to continue to give to these crackers. that nigg a house nigg and i will never vote for a blackman. we jus care about ourselves and crackers like that about us, they dont want us to unite with each other , thats y when one of us makes it to the top , they put in our heads to forget your people and look up to thier people. a cracker died for us kennedy , but a nigg aint dying for shit but himself no a days

  • @luvobamas

But Obama didn't save our country from going into a depression, he just played a role in delaying the next great depression. You need to read the actual words in the Bill, not just the title and listen to speeches. They DON'T match. The reality is that Obama is cutting deals with the EXACT same people W. Bush did. Things seem better because the US injected a huge dose of stimulus into the econ, none of the problems have been fixed. This isn't a R vs. D thing, it's the people vs. gov

  • I agree with 123vers!!!! My efforts are to be a part of the sloution by way of

economic growth. Starting up new industry may be many levels of trial &error

but i believe it can be accomplished. I'm an inventor and even though i'm

poor have with medical set backs, i feel strongly about pursuing my dream to

make "DERMA-FLOSS" a house hold product, made in the USA!!!

  • @bobjman I'm not an economist so I don't know all of the angles. What doesn't make sense to a lay person makes perfect sense to someone who has studied world finance. However I do know that President Obama saved our economy from going into a depression.

  • @maskedphrogg good. now explain to me how that quote somehow says i think the government "merely pretends to be for the people." wait wait let me guess. it's my job or some stupid bullshit like that

    1) do you agree that the phrase you quoted by me is talking about the degree to which the government exists for the people's best interest?

    2) if so, does the phrase attribute to the government a specific degree of such? or does it attribute a range of degrees, with pretension as the minimum?
