As far as massively popular pop songs go, Are Friends Electric is probably as as different and as unusual as it can ever get. What a great song; so simple, yet so complex.
Gary Numan was utterly brilliant in 1979, and still in 2009 - maybe even better! Wish I'd been at the Enmore that night.

Brilliant Video. Tickets booked for Glasgow ABC again in Sept 2011.
If you want power then elegance in your music. This version of this song epitimises that what a great video.
