La Mambopera is a dance and music performance that takes place in 21st Century Silencio City a nation/state where the authorities have outlawed "clave" the heart and soul of Afro-Latin music. It tells the story of a woman censored, arrested and brought to trail for dancing the forbidden mambo and how her efforts at her trial and escape from prison bring about the transformation of this oppressed society.
