I used to work as a receptionist at a serviced apartment. Some what I have to agree with lilanyangel about checking the situation. Ideally, the video is great. However, some guest will fume straight up knowing the reservation is not made. For me, tt is so ideal that the receptionist is able to make a decision about upgrading the guest on the spot.
Nevertheless she has done a great job.
JohnnyBravos : yea, I am skeptical about saying out loud their room numbers due to privacy reasons.

ok, I had been also receptionist, but I dont ever understand this long tells. Business people dont have a lot of time to listen that. You need to check the situation. So it's not the real world.

I'm a front desk girl as well. I feel like telling him, "well Mr. Creeper we don't guarantee room types and you're paying for the noisy room so you get that one. This honestly plays out like some sort of joke.

She's done a fantastic job as a front desk agent :)
Actually, it is the real world. Having worked at several luxury level hotels I guarantee that had you stepped into any at that level, this is exactly the type of experience you would have.
They do not rush, they take thier time and they do make it personal. Often we make assumptions, and assume people don't have time = the truth? A guest coming back down and asking a question that was not addressed at the check in and it happens all the time.
This entire video is 2 and a half minutes long.
