  • It is pretty amazing that it only requires one moving shaft. Everything else that moves is string. I wonder if you had 4 rods for the pendulum to wrap around if you could slow the motion down even more?

    I was thinking that this might be a good mechanism to drive a tracking mechanism for parabolic solar cookers which need to track the sun to work well.
