  • Thanks mate, I was trying to hand start my new RCEXEL ignition conversion with the glove on my right hand....didn't get it to fire so I used the starter as I always did with the Zenoah magneto......no glove for that as the starter caches the kick-back.....Lonz

  • Man that final was a dive from 200 feet in the sky, gobs of speed and this model likes to glide, too bad! What kind of motor did you use in it?

  • @tisoy909 Zenoah G62, Xoar 23x8.

  • Didn't look like a lot of damage, hope it is ok.

  • @dgls57 about 20 hours work....wheel boots, oleo bent, tire split, a couple of wing cracks, cowl blocks......and to track down what cause the motor problem...that was the second flight with an electronic ignition conversion from the old magneto....could have been the landing bump broke the ground return circuit from the plug base..?

  • I like the way you flipped the prop when the starter didn't have enough torque.

Only thing, maybe you should have the glove on your left hand so you don't loose anything important.
