I've never watched an episode of TMoHS till now.
Even before that, the VERY first thing I've ever watched was this movie. My God. It legitimiately brought me to tears. It actually saddens me at how there may not be a third season. The choice of music, plot, and character was so moving. I wish there was another movie. Personally, I feel there should be more about Yuki than any other character.

No wait, I've made a horrible mistake. The movie takes place following the end of S1. (So good!)
I was a "new" Haruhi fan, I barely forced myself to watch the first episode and that nearly turned me off from the series. But I had this conviction to watch a "girly, school anime" for once, and I wasn't watching Sailor Moon. So I sat down for this, thought my episodes were mixed up on the anime site I was watching them on, then the Big Reveal and now Movie... I can honestly say I regret nothing.

@axnasia1 as much as I can agree, though, the whole point of the movie was Kyon finally getting over his incessant whining and admitting to himself that he actually enjoys club activities. Tragic, but remember, the point of Endless Eight was to do your homework/take responsibility. *wink*
I have to watch Season 2 again now, though, because this seems conflicting; I remember S2 taking place in the middle of S1, so that means this character development was for nothing...

@DriftEJ20 It seemed to me like they gave a decent summation of everybody's character, it really felt like the "clipshow" episode you know?
