The Lion King commercials

Three of these are Burger King commercials. BTW Does anyone find it weird that, in two of the commercials, they're singing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" seeing as that song is about as anti-lion as you can get and yet the movie is as pro-lion as you can get? Also I'd complain that two out of three of these commercials make the movie look silly and cutesy but, then again, fast food advertising has never been truthful

The fourth commercial is an activity center commercial which, again, is oddly anti-lion and, at one point, pro-hyena (the narrator says "harmonized with a hyena")

The fifth commercial is a pretty funny soundtrack commercial though I'm not sure what news station actually promotes soundtracks

The sixth commercial is a Nestle commercial that doesn't promote the movie too falsely but it does kind of go overboard with the advertising

The seventh commercial is a calendar commercial that doesn't really make the movie look either light and silly or bombastic and big-it's just quiet. Though the calendar seems to be promoting the light and silly parts.

The eighth and ninth commercial are toy commercials. I'd complain that the toy commercials are making the movie look light and silly but, then again, how do you make epic commercials for those toys?

Does anybody think it's kind of fucked up to have a picture of Mufasa trying to escape the wildebeests as a picture in a calendar? "Hey, kids, now you can be reminded of one of your favorite characters being violently trampled to death ALL MONTH LONG!!!"
