    Good luck!

  • Kiko is a God amongst men!

    Just look up Angra.

    Songs like:

    - Angels Cry

    - Lisbon

    - Rebirth

    - Unholy Wars

Those are but the tip of the iceberg, they are of my favorites for Angra, the solos in them are just too excellent for words.

  • Kiko is an awesome guitarist and a great addition to the Rock House family.

  • Does Kiko also teaches the 8 finger tapping technique in this Creative Shred DVD?

  • what song is playing in the background?

  • he reminds me alote of chris brodrick

  • @DrNoth

Kiko never once claimed that playing fast makes you good, he is a great composer, he can play a variety of styles and often mixes them to create a unique sound, whether it be soloing, riffs, chords, song structure, anything.

  • @Hardysamnin, He is RIGHT! YOU are wrong!

You misinterpreted what he meant by those words! (Admittedly, he could've stated it more clearly, but I don't think English is his primary language.) Anyways, he was alluding to the concept that any advanced musician should have a highly developed ear-training skill, to the point of KNOWING what EVERY NOTE is going to sound like BEFORE it is played! He is NOT saying to never play an innovative idea, just that one should HEAR EVERY NOTE!

    FTW!

  • Playing really fast doesn't make you a good guitarist.

  • I am very impressed with the quality of dvds you are putting out. I have both the Jeff Loomis and Kiko Loureiro dvds and they are TOP NOTCH!

You will never go wrong with a Rock House product.

  • @Hardysamnin I understand why you say that, but here, in this fragment of the video, it is out of context and it is easy to misunderstand it. In the actual video he is talking about mixing styles, and he is saying that if you want to play blues, jazz, rock or fusion u should have heard that before playing it. He is not taking just about styles or making up creating new ideas on the guitar. He is actually encouraging guitarists to vary and have new ideas. Greetings :)

    Greetings

  • damn he has progressed leaps and bounds

  • Great player but, "You would never play something you've never heard"..... How wrong could he possibly be?
