I'm thinking of getting a scorpion but I'm not sure. Are they very aggressive ? Is there particular species that is not aggressive ? And does the sting hurt more than a bee sting ?
sawmassacre13 5 months ago
@sawmassacre13 this is not a beginner species, they can be very aggressive if youre not used to handling them, ari is pretty laid back but him and i have a pretty good trust built up. id start with an emperor, theyre the biggest you can get and also the most docile, generally speaking. some are aggressive but its rare, they usually only get that way if you abuse them. the sting is alot like a bee sting, only more venom. doesnt tickle... for the most part the pinch is the worst.

@Reptiledictionary225 you mean as in a "how to look after your scorpion" kinda video? cause ive seen quite a few of those on here, just gotta search for em. unless im mistaken in which case i probably could haha but im not really an expert, just experienced with little stingy critters :P

How often do you have to clean the tank and how do you clean it? thanks

@squanto9328 dont clean it much, theres not a whole lot to clean, he burys all his own feces and such and theres never usually any bodies left laying around, ill pick up the odd limb or something from a cricket that got left behind but other than that i just move the sand around once a week or so and make sure hes warm and dry enough.
