@TropianTV Testament never really changed direction, they just changed colours, they`ve always made kick-ass heavy metal-ish music, their skill exceeds Metallica by lightyears, i think Metallica are a bunch of douches, overrated as fuck and so forth, made intensly great music in the 80`s, 90`s they were just "another" band, so comes 00`s and they`ve just been piss-poor pathetic idiots.
Can`t respect Metallica anymore, Testament is the way nowadays.

I would have to disagree, because the big four are the bands who led the thrash metal movement. Testaments first album didnt come out until 1987. By that time, metallica was already a lot more popular and they were about to release their fourth album. Even though Testament has stayed true to thrash, i dont think they had as big of an impact on the world than Metallica.

I know it's probably meant in this fashion, but when the interviewer says, "It sounds produced" it sounds really douchey.

@JoJoQwenty I use to love metalllica until i compared there work towards other thrash metal bands. And they fallen from grace so hard i wonder why they were inducted in the hall of fame. And the Eric Peterson Alex Sholnick combination trumps James and Kirk. I was pissed when guitar world but them at number 2 and Eric and Alex so low in the list
