Spotting at Washington Dulles International Airport
Chantilly, Virginia
Saturday March 5, 2011

This video contains a short amount of activity on Runway 19C at Washington's Dulles International Airport, shot during the evening as it grows darker and darker. Here you will see a handful of United Airlines 767-300s and 777-200ERs departing, along with some international departures. This is a short video, as I did not spend a lot of time at Dulles because of the amount of light, as you can see in the video. I'm sure you guys will enjoy this vantage point as well. There would have been more video, but I spent the first part of the afternoon at Reagan and this was the end of the tape that I used. You will also hear a couple of my friends in the video, just having a good time. Enjoy, as this video is available in HIGH DEFINITION.

I apologize for the size of the video. It was shot in HD and rendered properly, yet I can't explain the format you see here...

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • Daily Parking Garage 2 Level 5 huh? Do you have to pay to get there? I've been going to KDCA (Ronald Reagan) just cause it's only about 30 minutes from home and for the past few months my friend and I have been trying to find other airports, preferably international. We didn't think Dullas had any good spots but this is a beautiful angle

  • @DownShiftRecords My understanding is that it's $4 for every half hour, up to $17 for each day... don't quote me on it...

  • The Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 has gone to Frankfurt, the KLM Airbus A330-300 has gone to Amsterdam, and the Austrian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER has gone to Vienna.

  • is there anybody know which mode of the first showed aircraft(AUSTIRA AIRLINE)????????

it seems like B737-900,BUT the maximum flight range of B737-900 is 6000KM,shorter than the distance between Wahshington DC and Viena.

  • Busy lady at control tower!
