So often we spend so much time beating ourselves up over our past mistakes. When Christ enters our lives, and we ask for His forgiveness, He casts our sins as far as the east is from the west. This is a huge and often successful tool of our adversary (satan) and can keep us locked up; ultimately preventing us from reaching the destiny and plan that God has for our lives. Only when we can overcome this, and truly accept the fact that Christ has redeemed us, can we truly begin to experience God: (Romans 8:1) "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

  • 6 months ago i was walking in the spirit then i turned away from God and turned back to prescription drugs, now i think ive lost my salvation, God doesnt send his spirit to me anymore and he no longer answers my prayers, i keep begging for forgiveness but i dont recieve it.

  • @trigger575707 Your salvation can't disappear.. what you are going through is guilt and self-condemnation. Our communication to the throne gets cut off when we purposely give into sin, wether because of addiction or just outright blatancy. First thing you need to do is know beyond all doubt, that GOD LOVES YOU!!! Second, turn away from those things that you know are cutting you off from His spirit. Then, recieve your forgiveness. Read Colossians 2:13-14., and stand firm on your prayer of faith.

  • @jommo2008 thank you your comment actully helped me, i just turned from my sins today and started hanging out with believers again, and i feel for the first time in 5 months that there might be hope, but im still not sure or confident, hebrews 6 and 10 are really getting to me they are always in the back of my mind and they are completely damaging my faith. i feel like i cant be saved because i purposely continued sinning after having knowledge of the truth.
