Lettermen : It Feels like Christmas

This is my favorite Lettermen song that was written by one of them. Donovan Tea wrote it and it suits their style perfectly.
I'm using it to celebrate the birth of the latest "Goulding" family member. Little Joel was just 6 hours old when these photos were taken at Whiston Hospital, Merseyside, yesterday, 27th Nov
Playing "bit" parts are proud parents Lee (my son) and Emma. Also just as proud Grandparents Josie and Phil
The words of the song is why I chose it, listen carefully and you will know just how we are feeling right now!!!!
I'm not sure Donovan had this situation in mind when he wrote the song, but, again it fits perfectly. You can see him in the trios picture and alone with his horse. He comes from Texas by the way!

If a Christmas song can be called "rare," this one is, and more's the shame. I'd rather hear this a thousand times than Madonna singing "Santa Baby," once. I heard this song a grand total of once in my life, on WPAT radio in Paterson, NJ, (long gone now.) Never found it on an album or CD, no matter how hard I looked. Finally found it here, some 25 years after hearing it on that defunct station, on youtube, where the best of the rare songs have gone.
