Johan is lame.  I rarely use him unless I'm playing hacks and even with hacks like say Biarny or Inflation, I like to choose his brother.

Johan would be alot better if he at least had something to make him out more than just a downgraded Lex. The poor skill growth and stat doesn't help, at least Johalva starts with 16 speed to make up for his 10% growth.

As for Johan, I DO love him... it's just that Johalva is better in every regard almost. Johan is basically a Diet Lex, but Johalva is a more unique experience. His speed is balls but at least his base stat of 16 helps it.

OH AND HE GETS BOWS JOHALVA+HERO BOW+PURSUIT RING=LULZ

Yeah, once I didn't move my men south enough so Johalva decided to attack Fee and Arthur instead! Luckily that was the time I was trying out different pairings so Arthur had Holsety...didn't hurt as much as it might have otherwise.
