Penelope - Austin Pets Alive! ADOPTED!

Penelope (or "Nellie" as her foster parents call her) is a very sweet, intelligent, affectionate girl. Whether she's entertaining herself in the yard or playing with them in the house, Nellie never stops making them laugh with her goofy antics and lightning bolt tail! Penelope is a very easy dog to have around. She loves being active and playing with toys, but she is very good at playing on her own and is perfectly content to snuggle up and watch a movie - and loves her crate!

She will need a home that can keep her quick mind active. In just a few weeks, Penelope learned sit, down, stay, shake and turnaround. She is eager to learn more and would love someone to teach her to behave on leash so she could go on more walks. Nellie lacks some social graces, which some dogs don't like, but she would love to have a big playful brother or sister!

When Nellie came to her foster home, it seemed she wanted to behave herself but no one had shown her how. She has come a long way and is an absolute joy! Penelope is looking for a home with people prepared to give her affection balanced with firm boundaries so she can understand your expectations. In return you will be blessed with a very loving, smart, loyal companion!
