Some people feel like it is their religious right to oppress others. However, using the excuse that you are part of "God's chosen people" or that your religion is the only "true" religion in the world is absolutely false. God created everyone, and every religion including Judaism, Islam and Christianity. No one is any better than anyone else, but you can certainly become worse than others by treating them inhumanely.

I would like to think that God made so many people and religions of the world because he enjoys diversity and life itself is a plural undertaking- not easily known or understood through just one perspective. But it seems that diversity only brings division between people and then they say how great they are and how low others are and go on a power trip and subjugate others.

Celebrate diversity, don't embitter your life because of it.

  • @Carex09 uuuuhhhhmmmm yeah right

  • @dpapaioannow "God dosent make people, people make people"

No, God makes people who don't believe in God then persecutes them, or at least argues endlessly with them. God didn't want belief, it wanted people to fight. And fight they did. Keep arguing. This is exactly what God wants you to do. And you say a God who loves war didn't make you. Amazing.

  • @dpapaioannow This must be why the Indians Wovoka and Smohalla as believed that the world would end in a fiery death and of course their people would be saved- the lost tribes of Israel are found! At last!!!!

Also seems like a large coincidence that they both came up with similar religions and it is over 700 miles between the two, 35 years difference and they never talked to each other. They are so similar that quotes said by Smohalla are wrong attributed on a regular basis to Wovoka.

  • @Carex09 not all religions are saying the same thing, not all religions are saying that the world is going to end in a fiery death,if you see any simillarities that's because all abrahamic religions were evolved from a common source, that's the religion of abraham(if that guy even existed historically speaking)so it's very logical that they have common sayings

  • @Carex09 wich god are you talking about here?the semetic god that all abrahamic religions believe in?or the god/gods of hinduism?and eastern religions?people were worshiping the sun the moon the trees the thunders you name it and everyone who didnt want to join the team would in most cases end up dead...-you believe in god/gods?-no...-die,-you believe in god/gods?...-yes...-you believe in my god/gods?...-no...-die and what do you mean if god makes people?god dosent make people, people make people

  • God is a compulsive liar and most often says the exact opposite of the truth. Proof that the bible was written by God is the amount of wrath against human beings and the fact that we are constantly blamed for everything- except of course anything good happening. That is how God is. Wrathful, egotistical, and a lying, cheating, theif who at the end of time would threaten people. God is the world's original terrorist. It is the only one who can look at a baby and say they were guilty of sin.

  • But the funny thing is that God was never responsible of course though, for humans actions and beliefs- not even in Buddhism...and of course we humans aren't the ones to make everything alright and bring justice...no, no, no... But really that is how the story should go...At the end of all of this I highly suspect that we will be the ones cleaning up the toxic waste and trying to right the wrongs of slavery, etc...

  • What we have here is a pattern that is uninfluenced by each other biologically speaking that keeps repeating itself- the names change but the story is the same. If life's author is only ONE then we would expect to see the stories be similar. If there were many authors- one would expect a great diversity. But yet we don't see a great diversity. All have people ultimately responsible for their actions and beliefs, while at the end of the world God or a higher entity will make everything alright.

  • @dpapaioannow But if God makes people, then everything that people make is made by God.

Nothing is a simple as it seems. Why is that if each one of the religions were just a serendipitous randomly occuring event that each is saying the same thing. Believe or thou shall die a fiery death- Muslims, Christians, Jehovah Witnesses you name it. The Ghost Dance religion also believes that most of the world will perish while they win it all (of course).

  • religions are man made,i think that says it all...end of story
