===========================

Wir sind durch die Stadt gerannt
Haben keinen Ort mehr erkannt
An dem wir nicht schon einmal waren

Wir haben alles ausprobiert
Die Freiheit endet hier
Wir müssen jetzt durch diese Wand

Verlager dein Gewicht
Den Abgrund siehst du nicht

Achtung fertig los und lauf!
Vor uns bricht der Himmel auf
Wir schaffen es zusammen
Übers Ende dieser Welt
Die hinter uns zerfällt

Wir schauen nochmal zurück
Es ist der letzte Blick
Auf alles, was für immer war

Komm, atme noch mal ein
Es kann der Anfang sein
Morgen ist zum Greifen nah

Lass es alles hinter dir
Es gibt nichts mehr zu verlieren
Alles hinter dir und mir
hält uns nicht mehr auf

Verlager dein Gewicht
Guck mir ins Gesicht

Achtung fertig los und lauf
vor uns bricht der Himmel auf
Wir schaffen es zusammen
Übers Ende dieser Welt
die zerfällt

------------------------------

We ran through the city
We couldn't recognize any places
That we hadn't already once been to

We've tried everything
Freedom will end here
We must now break through this wall

Shift your weight
You won't see the abyss

Ready, Set, Go and run!
The sky is breaking open in front of us
We'll make it together
Over the end of this world
That's falling apart behind us

We'll look back once more
It'll be the last gaze
Upon all that forever was

Come, breath in once more
It can be the beginning
Tomorrow is within our grasp

Leave it all behind you
There's nothing more to lose
Nothing behind you and me
Will stop us anymore

Shift your weight
Look me in the face

Ready, Set, Go and run!
The sky is breaking open in front of us
We'll make it together
Over the end of this world
That's falling apart

  • @cerenonnl

omG... they are interesting creatures then xD

  • @TheTbogt12 - I'm pretty sure you're just a troll, and a lot of people have already talked to you...But seriously--if you wanted the English lyrics, you wouldn't look up "Uebers Ende der Welt," Hell, if you were looking at their English songs, and only thought they had lyrics in English...how the hell did you get to the German song? As far as I've seen English doesn't link to German and vice-versa. But...what do I know? (:

  • @TheTbogt12 The song in german and english are different.. as a native speaker I must say, that the translation is OK... when the enlish version of german songs come out they are different, because sometimes the lyrics should be changed because of the rhythm...

  • @ashestoroses018 I agree with you.. I'm german and as a native speaker I didn't quile like the transtalion, because sometimes the sentence should not be translated word by word, it has different meaning...... : (

  • @ashestoroses018

I agree, and I believe that you're fluent, because it's the kind of thing someone who speaks the language would know.

  • Hm. The English translations aren't really accurate :/ I mean, the meaning is close enough, but the translator got the context wrong; for instance, uebers, in this context, doesn't mean over the end of the world...it's closer translated as "until," or "after/past." And, for the record, I'm fluent in both languages, so don't bite my head off (:

  • I like how you put the English subs under the German. :)

  • @TheTbogt12 Wowwwwwww, the song is in a different language, of course the English lyrics are going to be different! Words have different meanings in other languages. The literal translation of lyrics a lot of the time doesn't make a whole lot of sense, so they have to re-write the song to fit it's meaning.
