All of this footage was from July 23, 2008 when Category 2 Hurricane Dolly made landfall in the Rio Grande Valley, Tx. The hurricane is the first to make landfall in the US in over a year. It was a really intense storm as thousands of people lost power and their homes during this natural disaster. I myself lost power from 9:40 am to 9:15 pm. It was a fascinating sight but very scary as winds over 95 mph pounded against the valley. Every major news crew and anchorman was here just to capture the amazing sight. I'd like to thank all the local news crews and public/city officials who stayed up for more than 24 hours without rest or food to keep the public very well informed and up to date.

Music used:
"Wait For The Signal" - We Are Castles
"The Brothers" - Strata
"Epilogue" - The Receiving End of Sirens
"A Realization Of The Ear" -The Receiving End of Sirens

  • Nope. In Ebony Parkway. Nowhere near those neighborhoods, sorry.

It's pretty much all debris on the roads and stuff. But it's not too bad like La Feria.
