In this episode of our How To series we show you one way to add an 18 inch splash boom to a cymbal stand.
http://www.gibraltarhardware.com/?fa=partsmain&curcat=2&bnd=11&ci... SC-CLBRA Medium Cymbal Boom Ratchet Assembly lets you add a splash or crash to the end of a 12.7mm boom rod, 18 inches long, 9.5mm diameter (1pk)

  • @allmetaliswelcome Yes it can handle crashes. I wouldn’t mount ride cymbals with it, but it will hold crash just fine.

  • can it handle crashes?

  • @6sic666666 If the boom arm for your cymbal stand is at most 12.7mm diameter and knurled, then you can get the SC-CLBRA. This is a cymbal arm that you can connect to the actual boom arm on your cymbal stand. If your cymbal stand has a diameter larger than 12.7mm, is not knurled, or both, than I would recommend the SC-GCA. This is a cymbal arm that you can mount off the base of the cymbal stand.

  • I wanna ask something, I have a pdp 700 series boom stand with a 16'' crash, But I wanna add to the side a 14'' china, Can I do that???? Would this fit my pdp 700 boom stand???
