This is the third video in my brief overview series, in which I introduce basic features and workings of a board game. The goal is to help those who are researching and considering the game to get an idea of whether or not the game is worth a purchase.

  • Very good formula of the review. I would like to see next reviews made this way.

  • @mlesn All of my other videos are posted on Vimeo. Look up user timothyp and you'll see the rest of my board game videos.

  • Thanks, colleen33408! Head over to Vimeo to see the rest of my board game videos. I'm posting all of them there now.

  • Excellent mini review & presentation! When I saw the title I thought to myself "this can't be done, presenting and explaining a Caylus game in 3 mins is impossible" but you did it perfectly! I don't have any Caylus game yet and I'm considering buying this one instead of its bigger brother.

  • Before buying this game, you might want to check out my blog at Games on the Table (blogspot) - and read the post about Caylus Magna Carta vs. Pillars of the Earth.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • Eloquently (and succinctly) done!

  • Ah I didn't know about your blog! I found it just now and I'll check it as soon as I finish this reply. I played Pillars of the Earth (with the expansion) just once before christmas and I loved it! I felt the theme was really strong! Hehe to be honest, I want ALL those games. Too bad my wallet and my closet are not big enough to afford them all!
