A short video showing a modified webcam with the internal UV/IR filter removed. The first part shows the full spectrum which captures infrared (IR), ultraviolet (UV), and visible light. The second part shows with the 665nm IR filter and then the 720nm IR filter... My mom walks in toward the end and her hair looks blue because she dyes her hair, which shows up blue...
Thanks. As far as UV filters, if you want to block UV, there's a number of companies that make those. BUT, if you only want to allow UV to pass through, I know that Hoya, Kodak, and Baader-Venus makes them... The Hoya and Kodak UV-pass filters are really hard to find and are expensive. But just google "Baader Venus" and you should come to a site where you can get them. BTW, those filters are really thick! I'll send you an email here on YouTUBE with more info on how to make a UV-Pass filter
