Thank you for posting this, I consider myself to be another one of Jeremy Brett's girls, I'm not surprised at all to see him so easily pull off comedy. He had me laughing out loud as Sherlock Holmes at times. What a class act. Thanks again, though this may be rather late. I just saw it! :)

I keep expecting his to be in deep thought, get angry and yell "WATSON!, A case is Afoot! We must leave this dreadful place, and insufferable yanks behind!"
And Top drawer isn't even close, He was the priceless painting hanging above the drawers! Well enough kissing Mr Bretts ass for today. Loved him in everything he did.

@wadyano He actually was a really funny guy in person apparently. I wish he did more comedy. Watch him in "an ideal husband" he is hilarious. He was my first celebrity crush, and I cried when he passed away when I was 8. Thanks to his brilliant work (especially as Holmes), we all get to enjoy him forever.

wadyano, yes, he did. :) Actually, he loved doing comedy and wanted to do more.
Search for clips from 'On Approval', a very well done comedy that Jeremy was in.
I believe there are several posted on here. ^_^

its funny to watch a top drawer actor like brett play against a sitcom cut-out character. jeremy must have needed a few hours overtime to pay for a 2nd house he'd just bought.
